Board approves several principal contracts and introduces new administrators

The Keller ISD board unanimously approved contract and employment recommendations June 12 for several administrative positions, including principals for Fossil Hill Middle School, Hillwood Middle School, Vista Ridge Middle School and Lone Star Elementary School.
Board paperwork listed Ben Moore (Fossil Hill Middle), Kevin Wilson (Hillwood Middle), Diane Wilson (Vista Ridge Middle) and Julie Maddie (Lone Star Elementary) as recommended administrative hires. Members of administration introduced the new principals on the dais; each spoke briefly and thanked the board and their families for the opportunity to lead their respective campuses.
Superintendent Dr. Wilson noted the hires will take effect in the 2025–26 school year and that one internal administrator, Lee Parker, will move to be principal of the Keller Compass Center. The board approved the contracts by motion and voice vote (6–0).
