Trustees unanimously adopt agenda, consent items and personnel actions; approve superintendent secondment

Later in the meeting trustees approved a Volunteer Secondment Agreement enabling Superintendent Brent Ringo to serve as a board member of the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO). The motion (made by David Sprouse and seconded by Caleb Boone) passed unanimously, with the record noting the agreement clarifies that the services are professional, performed at the District's behest, accomplish a legitimate public purpose and that the District retains control over the administrator's ability to serve. Personnel approvals (professional appointments and substitute teacher list addendum) also passed unanimously (motion by Jack Stevens, second by Rolinda Schmidt).
