The board approved an amended and restated agreement with NYCLASS Municipal Cooperation (which replaced NYLAF) and authorized the District Treasurer to execute the agreement. It also approved an agreement between Erie County Department of Social Services and the district covering July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 and authorized the Superintendent to execute it.
The board approved a change of date for Just for Kids Organization’s use of the Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School Cafetorium from May 21, 2025 to May 15, 2025. Several student group trips were approved: the Sixth Grade team to the Maid of the Mist on June 4, 2025 (cost to district: three buses); the Woodrow Wilson band to NYSSMA Solo Festival May 30–31 (no district cost); ten ceramic students to BOCES Arts in Education Clay Throw Down (district cost: $200 registration and one bus); the JFK Concert Choir to Maryvale High School on May 1; and the JFK eighth grade to Darien Lake on June 13 (three buses). The board also accepted statements of profit and loss for recent fundraisers showing modest proceeds (Chipotle $57.29; K Club $223.25; Class of 2025 Krispy Kreme $2,888.50; Snowball Dance $566.40).
