Statewide Independent Living Council elects new officers for FY2027

The Statewide Independent Living Council on May 6 approved a slate of officers for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026. John Paschedag moved to accept the slate; Saul Morse seconded and the motion passed. The new officers listed were Jae Jin Pak as chairperson, Eric Brown as vice chairperson, Riley Anderson as secretary and Rachael Mellen as treasurer.
Chairperson Hershel Jackson also noted at the meeting that his term on the Council will end June 30, 2026, after completing two terms. The leadership transition follows routine succession planning discussed during the outreach and operations updates and will take effect at the start of the new fiscal year.
