The Chazy Union Free School District Board of Education voted Feb. 11 to approve Chazy Central Rural School’s NYSPHSAA Section VII Combining of Teams application to merge with Peru Central School District for the sport of boys modified lacrosse for the 2024–25 school year.
Chris Demers, board member, moved the motion to approve the combining application; Tim Howley seconded. The motion passed, recorded as "Motion carried unanimously" in the minutes. The minutes specify the approval authorizes the superintendent and board president to sign the application and that there is "no additional cost to the District beyond league administrative fees."
