Chazy students, faculty recognized for Model UN and county music festival

The Chazy Union Free School District board on Feb. 11 recognized the CCRS Harvard Model UN team and advisor Steve Cross for competing at Harvard and honored Gabriel Lizardi for participating in the Clinton County All-County Festival.
The Chazy Union Free School District Board of Education used part of its Feb. 11 meeting to recognize recent student and advisor achievements. The board extended congratulations to the CCRS Harvard Model United Nations team and faculty advisor Steve Cross for participating in the 72nd session of the Harvard Model United Nations in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The board also recognized Gabriel Lizardi for taking part in the Clinton County All-County Festival held Jan. 31–Feb. 1, 2025 at Peru High School and commended Mike Lewandowski as his advisor. Board President Craig Giroux and district leaders recorded the recognitions in the meeting minutes; no formal board action was required.
