Seneca Falls Museum reports $86,340 in grants, previews fall reopening and concerts

Dr. Andrew Oldham, executive director of the Seneca Falls Museum and Tourism Center, updated the board on grants and programming tied to the museum's DRI-funded renovations at 89 Falls Street. "In 2024 and 2025 combined, the museum obtained $86,340 in grants," Oldham said, naming several foundations and state council grants that supported exhibits, a custom front desk and a free Music in the Park concert series.
Oldham said construction has delayed some amenities but the museum expects to reopen this fall with new exhibits including an Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony-focused installation and a tugboat display previously funded by the Bonifiglia Family Foundation. He also reported lower concert attendance so far this season compared with last year and said the museum will continue to promote downtown programs and partner with local organizations to attract visitors.
The museum director thanked the town and the Seneca Falls Development Corporation for assistance and said the Canal Corporation's grant will fund boater amenities and public wifi that will be reimbursed after installation.
