The Village Board approved a 3% increase to sewer rates following discussion at the May 5 meeting.
Minutes record the minimum monthly rate for users not exceeding 1,000 gallons changing from $11.65 to $12.00 and the per‑1,000‑gallon charge rising to $7.33. The board also added a $1.00 monthly "Permit Fee" to each sewer customer's bill. Trustee Scott Kuntzman moved the measure, Trustee Tammy Wilson seconded it, and the motion passed 6-0.
The change was adopted as part of the board's broader utility rate adjustments considered during the meeting.
