The Village of Tilton board set a public hearing for the proposed Tilton tax agreement financing and development plan for Sept. 17, 2026 at 5:30 p.m., following a motion and roll-call support. The ordinance language was read into the record and trustees voted to set the hearing date to allow public notice and review of the proposed agreement.
Separately the board approved an ordinance annexing 2.86 acres on Honey Sauber Cemetery Road into the village and discussed a related property-transfer arrangement in which the buyer would sign a deed-back if required and a permanent easement would protect village bridge access. Staff and trustees emphasized restricting permanent structures in the easement and including terms to protect the village’s access rights.
