Hillsboro ISD reports near-full staffing; one paraprofessional vacancy remains

Christa Miller, director of Human Resources and School Support, told trustees the district is fully staffed except for one paraprofessional vacancy and described weekly campus-leadership meetings as foundational to support. Gaila Sanders, director of Special Programs, said the transition to the new year went smoothly and attributed part of that success to having staff in place.
Superintendent Dr. Darrell Brown praised new hires and the quality of applicants joining the district. The board did not record any personnel decisions in open session; further personnel work occurred in closed session, which the board convened later in the meeting.
