Karnack ISD will continue pension surcharge payments for rehires; amends employee handbook

Trustee Lacy Warren moved the measure and Trustee Kristi Stephens seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The action also authorized an amendment to the Karnack ISD 2025'2026 Employee Handbook to reflect the district's treatment of pension surcharges and TRS Active Care contributions. The minutes do not include fiscal estimates for the change; implementation will be handled administratively.
