Hillsboro ISD reports A-92 district rating; trustees outline next steps

Board members and district staff framed next steps as sustaining strong instruction at upper grade levels and accelerating support at elementary grades to preserve growth and equity. Boyd said distinctions place HISD campuses among the top quartile statewide in several subjects. The board did not take action during the hearing; staff said policy language and implementation plans will be part of ongoing conversations.
