Trustees voted to accept changes proposed by the Texas Association of School Boards policy service as part of the Localized Policy Manual Update 127. Melissa Cazares moved to add, revise or delete LOCAL policies as offered by TASB; Ernest Ogedo seconded and the motion passed by recorded vote (5-0).
The minutes also record there was no action on the DC LOCAL policy at this meeting. Superintendent Dr. Bonnie Avey said the district is awaiting release of science scores that will factor into the accountability rating; she reported she had no legislative update at this meeting.
