Lake Travis Independent School District trustees reviewed the district’s 2026–2027 preliminary budget at a budget workshop on April 1, 2026. Superintendent Dr. Null opened the session and thanked staff for their work; Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Pam Sanchez, Assistant Superintendent of School Leadership Dr. Bethany Medford and Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Susan Fambrough presented the overview. The meeting began at 6:01 p.m. in the Educational Development Center’s Live Oak Room in Austin.
District staff described the draft budget for board consideration and emphasized that the presentation was for review and discussion only. "This item was for discussion only; action will be requested at the June Board Meeting," the board was told. No dollar amounts or line-item decisions were recorded in the workshop minutes; that level of detail and any formal action will be presented to the board at the June meeting.
