Mildred Watkins moved to approve the 2026-27 academic calendar, with Rev. Larry Carpenter seconding; the board voted unanimously in favor. Henry C. Jennings moved to approve the monthly budget analysis report, seconded by Raymond Koon; that motion also passed unanimously. Jennings moved, with Koon seconding, to approve administrator and professional employee contract renewals; the motion passed with unanimous approval.
Earlier in the meeting trustees also approved a consent agenda that included recognition of state mandated dates, the Jan. 20, 2026 meeting minutes, the monthly tax collection recap, budget amendments, CH and CV (local) policy updates, and a resolution authorizing employee compensation during school closure due to inclement weather. All consent-agenda items were approved on a motion by Randy Devorsky and a second from Rev. Larry Carpenter, with all members voting in favor.
