Jourdanton ISD trustees approve final amendment to 2023–24 General Fund budget

The Jourdanton Independent School District Board of Trustees approved Budget Amendment 001 and the final amended 2023–2024 General Fund (199) at a special meeting on Aug. 28, 2024.
"I move to approve budget amendment 001 and the final amended budget for the 2023-2024 General fund (199) as presented," Trustee Kendall Schorsch moved; Trustee Nicole Rakowitz seconded and the motion passed 4–0. Trustees Barbara Peeler, Nicole Rakowitz, Kendall Schorsch and Kristi Schulte voted yea. Trustees Vance Jupe, Phillip Netardus and Greg Vyvlecka were recorded as absent.
The approval was taken as a single action under the meeting’s New Business agenda and followed the district’s posted procedures for a special session. President Barbara Peeler called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m.; the session adjourned at 7:48 a.m. after the board completed all posted items.
