LaPoynor ISD trustees elect officers, update bank signature card

The LaPoynor ISD Board of Trustees reorganized its leadership at the Nov. 18 regular meeting, electing Jacob Haynes as board president, Patrick DeBusk as vice president, Bryan Forester as secretary and John Kinabrew as assistant secretary. The motion to elect the officers was moved by Bryan Forester and seconded by John Kinabrew; the vote was recorded as unanimous, 7–0.
Trustees also approved an update to the district's Austin Bank signature card, removing Corneilus Hambrick and adding the newly elected officers along with Superintendent Marsha Mills and Chief Financial Officer Holley Franklin for multiple district accounts (Operating, Activity, Interest and Sinking, and two certificates of deposit). That motion was made by Patrick DeBusk and seconded by Bryan Forester; it likewise passed 7–0.
