Supervisor Manfield reported that three recent public meetings on the town’s comprehensive master plan drew 117 attendees and that the consultants, Patterns for Progress, will make changes to clarify language based on feedback.
"You can do so until June 12," Manfield said, referring to the comment link on the town website. He encouraged anyone who has read the draft but has not yet spoken to submit comments through the comp‑plan link posted on the town website. The board noted that written input through the online form will be collected and reviewed by the consultants.
The board also discussed next steps for outreach and agreed to skip a longer comp‑plan report at this meeting because the item has been the subject of extensive conversation over the previous weekend; the public remains able to attend upcoming presentations and sessions described elsewhere in the meeting.
