Pam Sanchez, Assistant Superintendent for Business Services, presented the March 2026 monthly financial reports and highlighted several key figures: the reports reflect activity through 58% of the fiscal year with recorded General Fund expenditures of 50% of the budget; cash and temporary investments across funds total $374,058,613; and monthly tax collections totaled $2,216,324 (97.50% of the 2025 adjusted tax levy).
"The financial reports reflect activity through 58% of the fiscal year with recorded General Fund expenditures of 50% of the budget," the minutes record. Sanchez also noted accrued wages payable of $15,003,792 for summer pay obligations recorded on the balance sheet, and provided bond-expenditure snapshots: 2018 bond expenditures about $260.2 million (remaining ~ $78,604), 2023 bond expenditures about $147 million (remaining ~ $193.4 million), and 2024 bond expenditures about $16.9 million (remaining ~ $21.4 million).
