La Villa ISD board approves July minutes and consent agenda

Board President David Alaniz convened the La Villa ISD Board of Trustees on Aug. 19, 2024. The board unanimously approved the minutes from the July 29, 2024 regular meeting after Superintendent Robert Muñoz recommended their approval.
Mr. Muñoz recommended approval of the consent agenda, which included the district expense report for July 2024, a comparison of revenues to budget (information only), the tax report (with Mr. Muñoz noting it should read "June and July 2024"), a functional budget amendment and the 2024-2025 Title I Family and Community Engagement Policy. "Mr. Muñoz recommended to the board to approve the Consent Agenda as presented," the minutes state. Trustee Marianna Reyna moved and Trustee Gilbert Hinojosa III seconded; all voted in favor and the motion carried.
