La Vega ISD board approves consent agenda, continues use of iReady for grades 1-3 screening

The La Vega Independent School District Board of Trustees on Dec. 16 unanimously approved its consent agenda, which included minutes from the Nov. 18 special-called and regular meetings, the monthly tax collection recap, consideration of budget amendments, and policy updates.
The consent agenda also recorded the district's planned continued use of iReady as the grades 1-3 screener "until the Commissioner's list is approved sometime this year," and included updates to facility standards and the safety and security CSA (regulation) and a localized policy manual update. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Mrs. Mildred Watkins and seconded by Mr. Henry C. Jennings; all six trustees present voted in favor.
