Landfill operator says payments current; board reviews annual permit and Valley Infill status

Kyle Black, district manager for Sacramento Meadows, told the board the company had made contractually required payments under last year’s host community agreement and presented documentation of a new agreement that includes a success fee and revenue-sharing provisions. "We have made every payment required by last year's host community agreement," he said, and later noted the new agreement includes a $1,000,000 success fee and projected additional quarterly payments.

Board members asked for clarification about whether the permit authorized new construction or only continued operation.
