Andrew Olden, executive director of the Seneca Falls Museum and Tourism Center, told the board the museum’s new fall outdoor arts festival attracted more than 200 residents and visitors and showcased two recently installed murals downtown. “We had over 200 people, both residents and visitors,” Olden said, and credited grant funding from the Auburn Public Theater, the Erie Canal Heritage Corridor and the Rochester Area Community Foundation for supporting the event.
Olden said the festival tapped into broader tourism momentum — including visitors who came specifically to see the murals — and that museum and community partners plan to continue and expand the event in future years as part of the Seneca Falls 2040 comprehensive plan. He asked the board to note continued cooperation among local organizations and volunteers as the museum proceeds with planned improvements.
