"Motion was made by Chris Neighbors and seconded by Brandon Canady that the Board approve the Design Services contract from VLK Architects in the amount of $617,500 for the Bill Burden Elementary Expansion to be funded by the 2021 Bond proceeds and authorize the Superintendent or designee to negotiate the final terms of the agreement," the minutes record. That approval allows staff to begin contract finalization and preliminary design work funded from bond proceeds.
