CFO Tim Brittain presented the fourth budget workshop on July 21, reviewing certified property valuations, revenue projections, preliminary expenditure estimates, and tax-rate scenarios for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. Brittain also discussed property-insurance recommendations and told trustees the district will present final tax-rate information at a future meeting.
During the workshop Brittain presented a "proposed 3% general pay increase for eligible employees," which the minutes record as part of the preliminary budget discussion; the board did not take action on the budget at this meeting. Trustees were told that additional budget recommendations and firm tax-rate figures will be brought back for possible action at a subsequent meeting.
The minutes do not include line-item budget tables, projected revenue totals, or implementation timelines for the pay proposal; those details were described as forthcoming.
