The Cherry Valley-Springfield Central School District Board of Education approved its consent agenda (Resolutions 1‑1‑2025 through 14‑1‑2025) by a unanimous vote on Jan. 15. The consent package included approval of minutes and financial reports, a budget transfer, an equipment‑inventory removal list and multiple personnel and contract actions.
Among the personnel and contract actions the board accepted the resignation of part‑time teacher aide Tina Herrington effective Jan. 20, 2025; approved an agreement with independent educational consultant Kathleen Frank for Jan. 6–June 27, 2025; authorized an agreement with Soliant for the 2024–25 school year; and accepted a merger contract with Sharon Springs Central School District for shared modified and varsity athletic competition for 2024–25. The board also appointed Joslyn Mabie (Students with Disabilities, Grades 1–6), Krista Gogis (School Counselor, probationary term beginning Jan. 8, 2025), and Sarah Paradiso (Students with Disabilities Grades 7–12) and approved mentor pairings and substitute lists.
The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Erin Seeley and seconded by Ellen Johnson; the record notes the motion "carried unanimously."
