Commissioners approve 20 resolutions including grant closeout, workforce agreements and a $67,300 stream-bank contract

The Board approved a slate of 20 resolutions during the voting portion of the meeting (Jeff Fix and David Levacy voting in favor; Steve Davis absent). Among the actions the Board: closed Fund #3910 related to the Sheridan Building HB2 grant; approved the Area 20/21 local governance agreement required by ODJFS for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act administration; approved a space-use agreement with Tecca LLC for Workforce Center space; and approved the WorkOhio and South Central Ohio Workforce Partnership agreement with the Area 20 Workforce Development Board.
Facilities presented a low bid recommendation for the Fetters Run stream bank rehabilitation and the Board accepted and awarded the contract to Buena Environmental for $67,300. Job & Family Services received approval for a grant agreement with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption for protective services staffing support. The Board also approved development and easement actions including a Magnolia Reserve development agreement and a sanitary easement with Diane Tiefenthaler. The Board authorized payment of invoices requiring Commissioners' approval and adopted several fund-appropriation and transfer items submitted by Sheriff and Utilities departments.
Each motion passed on the recorded roll-call votes noted in the meeting record. The Board adjourned at 7:08 p.m.; the next regular session is scheduled for Aug. 4, 2026.
