Superintendent, board announce PTO awards, events and next meeting

Superintendent Katie Kordel used the April 13 workshop to thank the PTO for hosting the evening's Outstanding Service Awards and to remind parents to complete and submit Intent to Return forms for planning. She also noted the district was in a busy testing period and thanked teachers, counselors and testing coordinators for their work.
Kordel announced upcoming events including the Majestics Showcase (April 16–18 at 7:00 p.m.) and a public tour of the Lovejoy Child Development Center on April 15 from 5:30–6:30 p.m. Board President Julie McLaughlin congratulated the 2026 PTO Outstanding Service Awards recipients and said the next regular Board meeting will be on April 27, when Leadership Lovejoy participants will be recognized and a budget update will be provided.
