Mabank Independent School District’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously April 27 to award a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) of $2,101,157.00 to Jackson Construction for Phase 2 of renovations at Central, Southside and Lakeview elementary campuses.
Byran Parma of Jackson Construction and Jason Fancher of Claycomb presented project details to the board. Vice President Erik Tijerina moved to approve the GMP and Trustee Dustin Conner seconded; the motion carried 5-0. The board did not record any amendments to the proposal during the meeting. The approval was discussed alongside broader district construction updates covering elementary, junior high and high school CTE work.
