Trustees ask for wellness participation data and employee-facing communications

During the staff action-items portion of the meeting, trustees requested additional information regarding employee participation in wellness programs, gym reimbursement, and other benefits. Committee members said they wanted participation data to better understand employee engagement and how programs are driving cost avoidance.
Trustees also asked that the employee-facing communications about available programs and direct links be provided to the board separately so members can reference the same materials when answering employee questions. Staff indicated that the communication will be shared with employees and separately provided to trustees.
