The Town of Clifton board reviewed and approved routine financial matters at its Sept. 10 meeting. The supervisor’s financial report was approved following a motion by Brett Blackmer and second by William Griffin. The town clerk’s report was approved after a motion by Mary Zuhlsdorf and a second by William Griffin. The board also audited and approved the bills; each motion carried with four ayes and no noes.
The meeting minutes list the recorded amounts by fund: CF ARENA $172.39; GENERAL $20,657.50; HIGHWAY $13,893.89; NEWTON FALLS WATER DISTRICT $38,860.59; NEWTON FALLS SEWER DISTRICT $3,611.20; CAPITAL PROJECT NFSD DISINFECTING $1,215.50. The board completed these actions before adjourning at 7:46 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Oct. 8, 2025, in Newton Falls at 6:30 p.m.
No budget amendments or large new appropriations were recorded during this session.
