Clifton board approves $1,425 camera for highway building; discusses black-fly billing and property inquiry

During new business the Town of Clifton reviewed multiple small operational items. The board approved a Barclay camera quote for $1,425.31 to add a camera to the back-left side of the Highway Department building; William Griffin moved and Mary Zuhlsdorf seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
The board also discussed the black-fly control program and decided Clifton will accept the employee and bill the Town of Fine for its share. Members agreed not to participate in a CDL Class A training program at this time, noting the town already has three licensed drivers. On a property concern on Lone Pine Road, the board reported it had no standing and that the DEC real property department will review ownership.
