Clifton board approves routine audit appointment, hires golf-course attendant and approves bills

At the July 9 meeting the Town of Clifton board authorized the accounting firm Fust Charles to undertake the 2024 audit; the motion was made by Council Member Brett Blackmer and seconded by William Griffin and carried 3–0. The board also approved hiring Tamika Provost as a golf-course attendant (motion by William Griffin, second by Brett Blackmer).
Financial reports from the Supervisor and Town Clerk were approved and the board audited and approved bills for several accounts (CF Arena, General, Highway, Newton Falls water and sewer districts, and a capital project). The minutes list specific amounts for those accounts, and the board approved a motion to purchase a computer for the highway department to control inventory.
