Dog Control Officer Sandy Griffin reported on training and requested that the board consider appointing Mike Moyer and Mike Gilbo as her backups when she is unavailable. Griffin also asked the board to consider purchasing software to enable online dog licensing for residents. The board did not take action on either request during the July 9 meeting.
Griffin told the board that a dog census in the neighboring Town of Fine cost $700 plus mileage, providing a cost example; she thanked the board for sending her to a bite-prevention conference.
