The Auburndale Planning Commission elected Commissioner Jody Miller as Vice-Chair on June 3, 2025. City Planner Jesse Pearson explained the Land Development Regulations require the commission to select officers for one-year terms; Commissioner Tom Dudash moved to elect Miller, seconded by Commissioner Steve Lawson, and the motion passed with all ayes.
The action follows the rules in Sec. 19.1.2 of the City's Land Development Regulations governing officer terms and nominations. The commission convened with five members present; Chairman Perry Price and Commissioner Crystal Tijerena were absent. The commission also approved the May 6, 2025 minutes by motion of Tom Dudash and second of Steve Lawson, recorded as unanimous.
