Paul Harpis presented plans for a 64-by-100-foot warehouse addition at 22 Salerno Drive and said Pat Prendergast would prepare the site plan; the board advised that a site plan showing setbacks, lighting, water and septic is required and that the project must be submitted to Columbia County Planning for review. Chairman Tim Wyman and board members emphasized that building plans alone are not sufficient for Planning Board approval.
Harpis told the board the building is arriving soon and said he was "starting construction with or without the Planning Board approval." Chairman Wyman cautioned that proceeding without approval is not advised; the board did not vote to accept any application at this meeting and directed the applicant to submit the required site plans and proceed with county coordination.
