Staff recommended approval based on consistency with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations.
Commission discussion included confirmation that the homes are built and that the parcel was developed in Polk County before annexation. Commissioner Danny Chandler moved and Commissioner Steve Lawson seconded the recommendation; the commission recorded a 5–1 vote with Commissioner Dave Holt opposed. The recommendation will be transmitted to the City Commission for final action.
