At its April 15 meeting, the Town of Claverack Planning Board issued a SEQRA negative declaration and approved a two‑lot minor subdivision for property at 51 Courts Lane. Applicant representative Jeff Mann told the board the proposal would split 24 acres into parcels of 18.5 and 5.5 acres; the board had no engineering questions and opened a public hearing that produced no comments.
The board voted to grant the SEQRA negative declaration on a motion by Lisa Bowe, seconded by Stephen King, and then approved the subdivision on a motion by Pat Fecher, seconded by Virginia Ambrose, with the condition that Columbia County Department of Health approval and a Town of Claverack highway/driveway permit be obtained before any building permits are issued. Maps were stamped and signed and Mann paid final fees of $1,300.
