Historic commission approves removal of deteriorated shed at 48 Anderson

The Eureka Springs Historic District Commission on Aug. 5 approved a certificate of appropriateness authorizing demolition and removal of a deteriorated shed at 48 Anderson Street. Commissioner Corey O'Hara read the staff summary of facts, saying, "The 48 Anderson Street. Property owner is Lila Anderson. Construction date is 1910. It is non contributing, and the scope of work is the demolition and removal of deteriorated shed." The Commission voted by voice to grant the certificate and the chair invited the property owner forward to receive the paperwork.
