Athletic Director Casey Jones updated the board on spring sports results April 22, reporting the baseball team at 1029-9 overall and 529-2 in district play with important remaining games against Alvord and Muenster that will affect playoff seeding. The Lady Knight softball team was 1729-10 and 829-1 in district, tied for first and facing a district-deciding game at NCTC; playoff opponents will depend on that outcome.
Jones said the Lady Knights won both district and area in track and listed athletes who qualified for the regional meet in Springtown on May 12-2. Boys golf won the district and finished third at region to qualify for state; tennis had multiple regional qualifiers on April 20. Specific athlete names and qualifying results were recorded in the minutes.
