Superintendent Steve Cope reported Feb. 25 that construction of the new Lindsay elementary building has progressed to the point that concrete slabs have been poured and permanent electricity will be connected now that the slabs are in place.
Cope told trustees that intercom systems are being installed and that camera and door hardware are staged on site but cannot be fully installed until ceiling work is complete. He said district staff are tracking the schedule toward an anticipated end-of-May 2026 completion date.
Cope also noted safety preparations: Summer Guardian training has been set and a district safety audit is scheduled for April. No budgetary changes for the project were recorded in the minutes at this meeting.
