The Magnolia ISD Board approved its consent agenda on Nov. 17, which included minutes from the Oct. 27 regular meeting, approvals for out-of-district transfer students, the October monthly financial statements, the 2025–26 bilingual exception and ESL application, and a review of the school safety audit findings.
Assistant Superintendent of Operations Erich Morris presented the financial packet and recommended approval of October payroll earnings and operating expenses totaling $17,053,154. Morris certified the expenditures on the financial reports were in compliance with applicable state and local requirements and recommended the board approve the October payroll and operating expenses. The board approved the consent agenda by motion (No. 6163) with recorded votes showing all trustees voting in favor.
The packet accompanying the financial presentation included the check register total for October ($4,894,628), General Fund year-to-date revenue/expenditure dashboards, and fund summaries for Food Service and Debt Service; the minutes also contain an investment summary listing fund balances and yields through Oct. 31, 2025. The Board’s approval made the October financials part of the official district records.
