Board signs off on 2027 gallery lineup after juried selection of 132 pieces

"We had over it was a 132 pieces of artwork to organize and look through," Emily said, describing the juror review and acceptance process. Staff previewed several prospective 2027 exhibits, including an installation by Daniel Adeboy Seifert; a two-person portrait exhibit featuring Julie Wheaton and Sandy Cook; large oils from Ryan Lane; and an installation by Lewis Colburn.
Board members moved and seconded approval of the artist-submitted lineup for 2027 while noting that some dates are still to be finalized. The department will return with confirmed months and dates once artists finalize availability.
Staff also noted community reception activities and local interest tied to upcoming shows, and the board thanked staff for programming work and logistics.
