Superintendent Dr. Allen recommended Kristie Ingram for the position of Spring Valley Elementary principal at the May 19 board meeting. Brad Alford moved to accept the administration’s recommendation and Pam Watts seconded; the board recorded a unanimous vote in favor of the appointment.
Earlier in the meeting, Carolyn Wynn administered the oath of office to newly appointed Trustee Stephen Carl and to elected/declared trustees Jordan Barry and Susan Vick. The minutes reflect the swearing-in and the principal appointment as separate recorded actions taken during the public meeting.
