The Midway Independent School District Board of Trustees completed its annual reorganization at the May 19 board meeting, selecting its officers for the coming year. Colin Witt moved to nominate Susan Vick as board president; the nomination was seconded and approved with all seven trustees voting in favor.
Trustee Stephen Carl moved to nominate Pam Watts as vice president, and Brad Alford seconded Colin Witt’s nomination for secretary; both nominations were unopposed and each passed unanimously. The roll-call votes listing each trustee by name were recorded in the minutes.
The reorganization follows the district’s usual annual procedure for electing the president, vice president and secretary from among the seven-member board. No additional nominations were offered during the public meeting.
