Trustees voted to approve recommended rankings of construction-manager-at-risk firms for several 2025 bond projects and delegated authority to Superintendent Dr. David Belding to negotiate and execute the agreements. The listed projects include construction of New Elementary #9, a new Career & Technical Education (CTE) building, renovations at Midlothian High School and Frank Seale Middle School, restroom renovations at three elementary schools, transportation facility additions and renovations, and ag facility renovation and expansion.
The motion was made by Trustee Tami Tobey and seconded by Trustee Jessica Ward; the vote was recorded as six yeas and one absence. The board's action authorizes the administration to finalize contracts consistent with the approved rankings and to return to the board if material contract terms require additional board action.
