The Midlothian ISD Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda at the regular April 20 meeting, adopting minutes from prior meetings, the quarterly investment report and several interlocal agreements. Gary Vineyard moved to approve the consent agenda, and Jessica Ward seconded; the motion passed with six yeas and one absence.
Items approved included Memoranda of Understanding for bus driver training and skills testing with Ennis ISD, Venus ISD and Maypearl ISD, the Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program MOU for 2026–2027, Region 10 e-contracts for 2026–2027, and a renewal of the Mentor's Care agreement. The board also approved numerous local policy revisions connected to the district’s District of Innovation plan (policies BE(LOCAL), CW(LOCAL), DBA(LOCAL), DCA(LOCAL), DK(LOCAL), DL(LOCAL), DNA(LOCAL), DNB(LOCAL), EB(LOCAL), EEB(LOCAL), FEC(LOCAL)). Teacher contract recommendations (Part I) were included on the consent calendar.
