The Mesquite ISD Board approved a comprehensive consent agenda covering routine minutes and multiple agreements and MOUs.
The consent agenda included approval of minutes from May 12 and May 19, monthly financial and tax reports, reaffirmation of the annual ethics statement for board members, endorsement for TASB Director positions (Region 10A and 10B), an affiliation agreement between Texas Tech University's Social Work Program and Mesquite ISD, an Early Childhood Education MOU, and agreements with Dallas College concerning dual-credit and Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools. The board also approved interlocal cooperative purchasing agreements for FY 2025–26 and other vendor and grant-related items.
The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Mr. Carbo and seconded by Mrs. Hornsby and passed with unanimous recorded support. The minutes list the consent agenda components but do not include the full text of each contract or MOU; those documents are referenced for record.
