The Medina Valley ISD Board of Trustees approved a consent agenda at the July 27 meeting after removing one item from the packet.
Trustee Matt Castiglione moved, seconded by Trustee Joe Biediger, to approve the consent agenda "with the removal of the CPS easement as presented." The consent agenda included: minutes from the June 22 regular meeting; an interlocal agreement with UTRGV; local policy updates (Local Policy Update 127 affecting policies BJCF, CAA, DC, DH, DP, DPA, DPB, EHBB, and FFF); the T‑TESS appraisal calendar and appraisers; the 2026–2027 Student Code of Conduct; procurement authorization for Elementary #7; an authorization resolution; renewal of a TCOLE memorandum of understanding; recognition of extracurricular status for a 4‑H organization (see separate resolution); and adjunct faculty agreements. The minutes record that "All of the Board Members voted for and the Motion passed."
The board also set future meeting dates: a special meeting on August 12, 2026, and the next regular meeting on August 24, 2026. Trustee Matt Castiglione moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded and the board adjourned at 7:10 PM.
