Maypearl ISD Board approves consent agenda, stipend and conduct updates

At its May 28, 2026 regular meeting, the Maypearl ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda (including 2026–27 meeting dates and an interlocal agreement), adopted updates to 2026–27 employment stipends and the 2026–27 Student Code of Conduct, and heard enrollment, finance and construction updates.
The Maypearl Independent School District Board of Trustees met in regular session on May 28, 2026, at the district board room and approved a package of routine and substantive items. Vice President Steve Cooper called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; the board approved the consent agenda on a motion by Adam Smith, seconded by Jerry Ramirez, with all five members present voting yes. Jarod Wright and Chad Trinkle were noted as absent.
Superintendent Dr. Joshua Martin presented the enrollment report and Business Manager Josh Boone delivered finance reports; Gallagher Construction representative Kris Wollison provided an update on construction progress. The board moved into executive session under Texas Government Code Section 551.074 at 6:45 p.m. and reconvened at 7:47 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 7:48 p.m.
